Dustin Jorgenson Recommends Visiting Utah



Dustin Jorgenson was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and enjoys everything that the city offers in outdoor activities. Dustin Jorgenson is an avid rock climber, hiker and camper. When visiting Utah, there are many places that Dustin Jorgenson recommends that you visit if you enjoy outdoor activities. There are many amazing places to rock climb, hike and camp throughout Utah.

Dustin Jorgenson recommends visiting the many national parks that are located in Utah. There are 5 national parks located in Utah and two of Dustin Jorgenson's favorites are Zion National Park and Arches National Park. Located in the southwestern area of the state, Zion is known for its high plateaus, sandstone canyons and large rock towers. Arches is located in the high desert area of Utah and has elevations that range from 4000 to almost 6000 feet above sea level.



Zion encompasses over 229 square miles and provides some of the best camping in Utah. Dustin Jorgenson often enjoys weekend camping trips in Zion National Park. There are many hiking and bicycling trails that go through Zion. When hiking in a national park Dustin Jorgenson recommends that you stay on established trails and that you are especially careful when walking near overlooks and drop-offs. There are many areas where loose sand and pebbles can cause the trails to become slippery.

When visiting Arches National Park, Dustin Jorgenson is sure to engage in rock climbing. This national park is home to over 2000 natural sandstone arches. Dustin Jorgenson also enjoys camping at Arches National Park. The park contains amazing hiking trails that will give you views of the thousands of Arches including national treasures such as Balanced Rock and Delicate Arch. Many of the trails that wind through this national Park travel under arches. This gives visitors like Dustin Jorgenson an amazing perspective that is not visible from the main road.
