Dustin Jorgenson believes that everyone should do what they can to
help those who may not be as fortunate as they are. While not everyone is
equally equipped to help those in need in the same ways, according to Dustin
Jorgenson, everyone can, however, do their own part to be a valuable
participant in service to those less fortunate.
Dustin Jorgenson has long been involved with a number of activities as
well as other endeavors that have helped good causes. Dustin Jorgenson has
participated in not only a variety of volunteering opportunities, but has also
been involved with a number of nonprofit organizations and charities as an
active donator.
If you’re someone who’s perhaps considered becoming a volunteer but
have yet to dive-in to an opportunity to serve a good cause, Dustin Jorgenson
wants you to know that there are a wide-range of volunteer opportunities
throughout various underserved communities around the country and beyond.
Dustin Jorgenson is a member of the Latter Day Saints, and, with a
group of other Latter Day Saints members, traveled to Ecuador to help
build homes for those in need of shelter for their families. During his
volunteer expedition to Ecuador
with the Latter Day Saints, Dustin Jorgenson helped build a home for a widow
with 8 children who, with her children, had previously lived in a one room
living space that had dirt floors. Dustin Jorgenson says that building a home
for the family with 8 children was hard work, however, it was highly rewarding.
While a trip to a 3rd world country to participate in a
volunteering opportunity may not be feasible for you in the very near future,
Dustin Jorgenson wants you to know that by taking the step of inquiring about
volunteer opportunities at a local church, shelter, or other nonprofit
organization, you will undoubtedly find that the options to volunteer are vast.
