How “NO” Leads to a Solid “YES”

Dustin Jorgenson admits that his first tip may sound counterintuitive, but he also admits that it is one of his most useful tips as well. He advises that while most salespeople are trying desperately to get their customers to say nothing but “yes,” you should be trying to get them to say “no.” Having them say “yes” to everything dilutes its power. Instead, have them say “no” to lesser options, then you will have them saying “yes” to the right option in no time.

Be a Mirror to Your Customer

Dustin Jorgenson says that we all have a unique vocabulary. We all have word preferences, or a way of describing things. In order to sell a product to a specific customer, try learning how they describe things and start mirroring that.

When making promises to your customers, Dustin Jorgenson says that a surefire way to impress is by keeping the expectations of your customers low, but then surprising them with a great delivery. You will set yourself up with great repeat customers this way.
